Oriental Clubhouse

The reception area of this private clubhouse was conceived as a serene threshold between the modern world and a space of cultural retreat. Drawing inspiration from traditional East Asian design principles, the interior blends refined materiality with minimalism and warmth.

A handcrafted timber reception desk anchors the space, complemented by a feature wall adorned with vertical battens and a custom mural. The ceiling is softly illuminated with recessed lighting, enhanced by a traditional sculptural pendant.

Natural finishes such as polished timber flooring, warm timber walls, brushed white accents and soft white fabrics, are paired with carefully curated elements including bamboo, calligraphy art, and hand-glazed ceramics. The result is an atmosphere that is both timeless and contemporary—an elegant expression of hospitality that reflects the cultural richness and tranquility of oriental design.
